Description

Cy Plus syrup is used in the treatment of allergic conditions of the skin, nose and eyes. It is also used to increase appetite, especially in the case of undernourishment. This medicine contains cypr

oheptadine and tricholine as its active ingredients. Cyproheptadine belongs to a group of medicines called antihistamines and anti-serotonin. Tricholine is a lipotropic medicine that also acts as an inflammation blocking agent. Cy Plus syrup should be given to children only under the guidance of a doctor. The dose of the syrup varies according to age and condition. It should not be given to elderly and debilitating persons. Overdose in children can lead to chest congestion, breathing difficulty and death. It is not advisable for children under 2 years of age or premature children.
