Confinex Tablet is a stool softener medicine. It contains prucalopride as its active ingredient. It is used to treat constipation. It is a condition characterised by difficult, infrequent and/or inco

Contraindications of Confinex 1 MG

If you are allergic to prucalopride or any of the other ingredients of Confinex Tablet.
If you are on dialysis, have perforation or obstruction of the gut wall or have intestinal diseases.

Pregnancy

Can I take Confinex Tablet during pregnancy?

Confinex Tablets should not be taken during pregnancy. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy before initiating the treatment. While taking this medicine use an effective contraceptive.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Confinex Tablet while breastfeeding?

Breastfeeding is not recommended while on treatment with this medicine.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Confinex Tablet?

Confinex Tablet doesn’t affect your driving abilities. However, you may feel tired and dizzy during the first few days of treatment. Avoid driving if affected.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Confinex Tablet?

There is no known interaction between alcohol and Confinex Tablet.
