- According to the CDSCO, it treats patients who have co-morbid depression and anxiety.
Contraindications
- If you have a known allergy.
- If you are on Monoamine oxidase inhibitors.
- If you are on Pimozide.
- If you have an increased risk of cardiac rhythm abnormalities.
- If you have liver disease.
- If you have acute angle Glaucoma.

Interactions with other medicines
- It isn’t recommended that you take this medication with Atenolol or Codeine. Carbamazepine, rifampin, and rifabutin may increase clonazepam metabolism and reduce its therapeutic impact; use an alternative sedative/hypnotic medicine instead.
