Mode of Action of Clodrel 75 MG

How Does It Work?

Platelets are tiny structures in the blood that helps in blood clotting. Clopidogrel prevents this platelet activation and aggregation by binding to the active receptors on platelets.

Directions for Use of Clodrel 75 MG

The tablets have to be swallowed whole with a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the tablet.

Interactions with other medicines

Concomitant use of clopidogrel with oral anticoagulants may increase the intensity of bleedings
Concomitant use of clopidogrel and naproxen increases the chances of gastrointestinal blood loss
Clopidogrel when taken along with Rifampicin, may increase the effect of clopidogrel and increases the risk of bleeding
Concomitant use of clopidogrel and Omeprazole may decrease the efficiency of omeprazole
