Bro-Zedex LS drops are cough and cold medication. It is used in children to treat wet cough due to various inflammatory conditions of the respiratory tract like bronchitis and asthma. Bro-Zedex LS drops are also used to treat sticky mucus, wheezing, and chest congestion. It improves symptoms like difficulty in breathing, wheezing, and wet cough. Bro-Zedex LS drops contain a combination of levosalbutamol, ambroxol, and guaifenesin as active ingredients. Do not use this medicine if your child has a history of allergy to any of its components. Before starting Bro-Zedex LS drops, inform your doctor about your child's complete medical history. Give this medicine to your child exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Shake well before use.
According to the advisory issued by the Union Health Ministry, cough and cold medications should not be prescribed or dispensed to children under two years of age. These medications are generally not recommended for children under five years old. For children above that age, any use should be based on careful clinical evaluation and close supervision.

- Bro-Zedex LS drops contain a combination of levosalbutamol, ambroxol, and guaifenesin as active ingredients.
- Levosalbutamol is a bronchodilator that relaxes the muscles of the windpipe and dilates the bronchi. This helps in decreasing airway resistance and improves the symptoms related to breathing difficulties.
- Ambroxol is a mucolytic agent. It acts by releasing mucous and producing surfactant effects. It decreases the viscosity of mucous and helps in the easy removal of phlegm.
- Guaifenesin is an expectorant medicine, which by producing fluids in the respiratory tract, improves the movement of mucous from inside to outside.
