Biselect 5mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
Description
Biselect 5 Tablet is a medication used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and chest pain (angina). It contains bisoprolol, a type of medicine called a beta-blocker, which works by slowing down the heart rate and relaxing the blood vessels. This helps reduce the pressure inside the blood vessels and improves blood flow, allowing the heart to function more efficiently. Controlling high blood pressure is important to prevent complications such as heart attack, stroke, or kidney problems.
This medicine should be taken exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Skipping doses or taking more than the prescribed amount can affect its effectiveness and may cause unwanted side effects. Biselect 5 Tablet can be taken with or without food, but taking it at the same time each day helps maintain stable blood pressure levels. Do not stop the medicine suddenly without consulting your doctor, as it may increase your blood pressure or trigger chest pain.
Along with taking Biselect 5 Tablet, lifestyle changes are important for managing blood pressure effectively. These include reducing salt intake, eating a balanced diet, maintaining a healthy weight, exercising regularly, limiting alcohol consumption, and avoiding smoking. Your doctor may also monitor your heart rate and blood pressure regularly to ensure the medicine is working safely and effectively.
Some patients may experience mild side effects while taking Biselect 5 Tablet, such as fatigue, dizziness, slow heart rate, or cold hands and feet. These usually improve as your body adjusts to the medication. Contact your doctor if these side effects persist or if you experience severe symptoms such as fainting, difficulty breathing, or chest discomfort.
Before starting Biselect 5 Tablet, inform your doctor about your complete medical history, including any heart problems, kidney or liver issues, diabetes, or other medications you are currently taking. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should only use this medicine under medical supervision. Following your doctor’s instructions and adopting healthy lifestyle habits will help you achieve better control over your blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart-related complications.
