Azomycin Tablet is used for the treatment of bacterial infections of the ears, throat, tonsils, airways, lungs and nasal passage, sexually transmitted diseases like chlamydia, skin and soft tissue infections, infections of the urinary system and genital parts in females....
Contraindications
If you are allergic to azithromycin or any other antibiotic from the same class as erythromycin or any ingredient of Azomycin Tablet.

How Does It Work?

- Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water, with or without food. Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- Take it at a fixed time for optimal results, and do not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.
- Complete the course of this antibiotic medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Inform your doctor about all the medications, supplements, or herbal products you are currently taking or considering to prevent any potential interactions.
- Medications used to manage stomach acid, such as antacids, should be taken with a minimum gap of at least one hour from Azomycin Tablet.
- Medications for migraines or headaches, like ergotamine, should not be taken concurrently.
- You may experience irregular heart rhythms if you are taking medications like cisapride that are prescribed for gastric reflux diseases.
- Medications used during heart failure, such as digoxin, those for treating gout, like colchicine, immune-modifying medications like cyclosporin, blood-thinning medications like warfarin, and anti-allergic medications like astemizole, should be used with caution....
Storage and disposal
- Store Azomycin Tablet at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, moisture or heat.
- Keep them away from children and pets.
- Do not take this medicine after the expiry date, which is mentioned on the pack.

Symptoms of overdose may be diarrhoea, loss of hearing, feeling sick. If you experience any of the symptoms or think you have taken too much of Azomycin Tablet, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital....
Missed a Dose
If you missed any dose of Azomycin Tablet, then take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, then skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one....
