Azivent Xl 100mg syrup contains azithromycin as the active component. This syrup is used to treat several bacterial infections. Azithromycin kills and stops bacterial growth by interfering with the s

- Azivent XL syrup is taken orally, with or without food, as prescribed by your doctor.
Interactions
Interactions with other medicines
- Concomitant use of aluminium and magnesium containing Antacids decreases peak blood levels of azithromycin
- Azithromycin increases blood levels of Theophylline
- Azithromycin increases effects of warfarin
- Azithromycin increases blood levels of digoxin and cyclosporine
- Azithromycin causes carbamazepine toxicity if administered together
- Azithromycin Increases blood levels of Triazolam leading to toxicity
