• Azithral 100mg liquid is used for the treatment of bacterial infection of ears, lungs, throat, windpipe, nasal passage and tonsils, genitals, skin and soft tissues.

• Dizziness

• Impaired sense of taste and vision
• Diarrhoea
• Nausea
• Vomiting

Other General Warnings

• Your child has any kind of underlying medical condition like heart-related problems, kidney or liver problem.
• The child experience severe and persistent diarrhoea after taking this medicine.
• The child has muscle weakness.
• The child has any nerve and brain-related problems.
• The child has low levels of potassium or magnesium in blood.
• The child has any allergic reactions like swollen throat, face, rash, fever, breathing difficulty, any other infection.
• Your child is suffering from diabetes.

• Take this medicine as instructed by your doctor.
• Do not change your dose unless your doctor tells you to.
• Never stop the medicine on your own.
• Complete the entire course of the medicine, otherwise, it may lead to treatment failure.

• It should be stored at room temperature, away from direct sunlight or heat.

Interactions with other medicines

• Sometimes Azithral 100mg liquid may affect the way other medicines work, and other medicines may affect how Azithral 100mg liquid works if taken at the same time.
• Tell your doctor about all the medicines, supplements, or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
• Medicines used to reduce stomach acid called antacids should be taken with a minimum gap of one hour with this medicine.
• Medicines used for migraine headaches such as ergotamine should not be used concomitantly.
• Other medicines such as medicine used during heart failure like digoxin, medicines used to treat gout like colchicine, immune system modifying medicine like cyclosporin, medicines used to stop blood clotting should be used cautiously.
