How does this medicine work?

Amino acids are the small building blocks used to make proteins in the body. Auximin infusion supplies amino acids directly into the bloodstream so they can support protein balance, tissue repair and muscle maintenance when normal food intake is insufficient. A healthcare professional monitors the infusion and adjusts treatment according to the person's nutritional condition.

Interactions

Interactions with other medicines

Some medicines can affect the way Auximin infusion works. Tell your doctor about all the medicines, vitamins and supplements you take. In particular, mention medicines that affect kidney function, fluid balance or blood salts, and any other nutritional infusion, because monitoring or treatment changes may be needed.

Interactions with food items

No specific food interaction is known. Tell your healthcare team about any prescribed protein or fluid restriction.
