This medicine can be used by both adults and children, depending on their medical condition. The active ingredient in Aripiren tablets is Aripiprazole. It belongs to a class of atypical antipsychotic medicines. The mode of action of Aripiren tablets is by stabilising the levels of certain chemical messengers in the brain. These chemical substances help stabilise mood and lower the overactivity of the nerve cells in the brain. Aripiren tablets are not habit-forming and do not cause dependency. Directions for use of Aripiren tablets should be strictly followed. It should be taken in the correct dose for the entire course of treatment. Uses of Aripiren 5 MG

As per USFDA, the Aripiren tablet is used for the following conditions:
Treatment of schizophrenia by managing both positive and negative symptoms of the disorder
Management of sudden manic and mixed episodes associated with bipolar disorder
Adjunctive therapy for major depressive disorder
Irritability associated with autism disorder
Treatment of Tourette’s syndrome

Contraindications of Aripiren 5 MG

Do not take Aripiren tablets, or use caution:
If you have an allergic reaction to any of the ingredients in Aripiren tablets.
If you are an older adult with dementia-related psychosis; Aripiren medicine can cause a severe reaction and even early death.
If you take other antipsychotic medications.
If you have suicidal thoughts and behaviour changes; this is especially crucial in children.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to conceive
If you have impulse control tendencies like addictive behaviour; dose adjustment or an alternate medicine may be needed.
If you have tardive dyskinesia (involuntary movements) or neuroleptic malignant syndrome
