Aldactone 25 MG Description

Aldactone 25 tablet is a type of diuretic medication, also referred to as a water pill, that contains spironolactone as its active component. This medication is commonly used to treat oedema caused by conditions like heart failure, liver and kidney disorders. Additionally, it is used to address low potassium levels in the body. As a diuretic, Aldactone 25 helps prevent the absorption and retention of salt and water in the body, reducing swelling.

If you are being treated for high blood pressure, follow the doctor's advice about a healthy diet and exercise for better results. Your doctor may advise you to follow a salt-restricted diet. Avoid consuming potassium-rich food along with this medicine, such as spinach, coconut water, etc. Take it as suggested by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed.

Do not stop taking Aldactone without consulting your doctor. Sudden stopping of this medicine may cause harm and further worsen your medical condition. Cglactone 25mg Tablet and Onoctone 25 tablet also contains spironolactone as its main ingredient.
