Alcecost Sp Strip Of 10 Tablets Description

Alcecost SP tablet is used to treat pain associated with arthritis, spondylitis and post-surgery, along with swelling. It contains a combination of three medicines, namely aceclofenac, paracetamol an

d serratiopeptidase, as its active ingredients. It is also used to provide relief from pain, especially in bones and joints in conditions like Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Ankylosing Spondylitis and pain after surgery. This medicine should not be used by pregnant women during their third trimester and by breastfeeding women. It is advised to take Alcecost sp as advised by your doctor to gain optimal benefits. Alcecost SP tablet can be taken along with or after food. Before using the Alcecost Sp tablet, inform the doctor about your detailed medical history.

Uses of Alcecost Sp Strip Of 10 Tablets

Alcecost SP tablet is used to provide relief from the pain associated with various conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis and post surgeries.

Contraindications of Alcecost Sp Strip Of 10 Tablets

If you have an allergy to aceclofenac, paracetamol, serratiopeptidase or any other ingredient of Alcecost Sp tablet.
If you have a history of allergy including asthma, skin rashes or runny nose after taking medicines like Ibuprofen and Aspirin.
If you have ever experienced severe allergic reactions.
If you have a history of frequent stomach ulcers or bleeding.
If you are suffering from any heart disease like heart failure and high blood pressure.
If you have problems with the kidney and liver function.
If you are pregnant (especially after 3rd month of pregnancy).

Pregnancy

Can I take Alcecost SP tablet during pregnancy?

It is unsafe to take Alcecost SP tablet during pregnancy. Hence it should not be taken by pregnant women. Taking this medicine in pregnancy can cause defects in the baby's heart, even delay delivery or increase the risk of bleeding.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Alcecost SP tablet while breastfeeding?

It is advised not to use Alcecost SP tablet if you are breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you are a nursing mother before starting the treatment.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Alcecost Sp tablet?

It is advised not to drive or use machines when you have taken this medicine as it may cause dizziness.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Alcecost SP tablet?

It is advisable to avoid the consumption of alcohol during the treatment as it may worsen your liver problems and other side effects.

Other General Warnings

Talk to your doctor if

You have any pre-existing medical conditions like kidney or liver problems, heart disorder, hypertension, autoimmune disorder, asthma, etc.
You are an elderly patient or taking diuretics or have a kidney disorder, then this medicine can increase the risk of kidney failure. Your doctor may ask you to do renal function tests for the same.
You are suffering from gastrointestinal problems like bleeding, ulcers in the intestine (perforation) or Crohn's disease or you notice black tarry stools.
You are an alcoholic and the concomitant use of this medicine can damage the liver.
You have disorders related to blood like clotting problems and anaemia.
You have skin rashes & lesions after taking this medicine.
