Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- Afenak Plus S Tablet contains aceclofenac, paracetamol, and serratiopeptidase as its active substances.
- Aceclofenac and paracetamol are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs) that block the action of a chemical called cyclooxygenase. Cyclooxygenase is responsible for the formation of certain substances in the body called prostaglandins that cause pain and inflammation.
- Serratiopeptidase repairs the tissues and decreases the swelling around the infected area.
