Addnok 0.4mg Tablets
Addnok 0.4 MG Description
Addnok 0.4mg Tab is a narcotic analgesic containing Buprenorphine as an active ingredient. It is prescribed to treat severe pain and block withdrawal symptoms in medicine abuse or substance abuse pat
ients. Buprenorphine is classified as an opioid partial agonist. It means it produces the same effects as that of an opioid but in low and moderate doses. On increasing the dose, the analgesic and opioid-like effects do not improve. Therefore, it blocks withdrawal symptoms and the urge to take opioids in patients recovering from opioid addiction. Addnok 0.4mg Tab should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The duration of taking it varies depending on the patient’s condition. This medication is generally prescribed for use along with de-addiction therapy and counselling. Addnok 0.4mg Tab has habit-forming potential. It may cause psychological and physical dependence (inability to function without medicine) and hence should not be stopped suddenly without consulting your doctor. Addnok 0.4mg Tab is to be taken only after stopping opioid use or in the early stages of withdrawal. It is recommended to confer your doctor before starting treatment with Addnok 0.4mg Tab and get complete information on its potential side effects and benefits. Addnok 0.4mg Tab may also interact negatively and produce life-threatening side effects when taken with certain medicines like those used to treat anxiety, depression, migraine, sleeplessness and allergy. Therefore it is suggested to talk to your doctor about all medications you are taking or planning to take.
