Acamprol tablet contains Acamprosate as an active ingredient. Acamprol is used in the management of alcohol dependence. It helps people who used to consume a large amount of alcohol to abstain from d
rinking alcohol and reduce cravings. It is usually combined with social support and counselling. It is not useful for patients who are still consuming alcohol. It is not useful in controlling alcohol withdrawal symptoms and not effective in people who are still consuming alcohol.
