Pseudoephedrine+Levocetirizine is a combination of levocetirizine and pseudoephedrine. Levocetirizine is an antihistamine (allergy medicine), which works by blocking the chemical messenger (histamine) responsible for allergic symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, and runny nose. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which causes narrowing of the small blood vessels in the nose, decreasing congestion.

Interactions with other medicines

  • Antidepressants (such as isocarboxazid, selegiline, tranylcypromine) taken with this medication may cause a serious (possibly fatal) drug interaction. Most antidepressants should not be taken for two weeks before treatment with this medication.
