Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
Chlordiazepoxide+Clidinium is a combination of two drugs named Chlordiazepoxide and Clidinium. Clidinium relieves stomach cramps and intestinal cramps. Moreover, it also helps to relax the muscles in the stomach and intestines by acting as an antispasmodic, thus slowing the natural movements of the gut. Whereas on the other hand, Chlordiazepoxide being a benzodiazepine, suppresses excessive or abnormal behaviour of the brain's nerve cells by increasing the action of a chemical messenger (GABA).
