Molecule Description
Adapalene+Clindamycin is a combination medicine. It is used to treat acne. Both
the medicines work by inhibiting the growth of bacteria causing pimples, reducing swelling and inhibiting the formation of blemishes due to the accumulation of oil and dirt. Clindamycin belongs to a class of medications known as antibiotics and adapalene is derived from vitamin A. Adapalene+Clindamycin is available in the form of cream, ointment, gel, nanogel, soap.

Mode of Action of Adapalene+Clindamycin
How Does It Work?
- Clindamycin works by inhibiting the protein synthesis in the bacteria responsible for causing infection and thus inhibits the growth of infection-causing bacteria.
- Adapalene works by inhibiting the rooting of pimples inside the skin and decreasing swelling and inflammation. It also removes dead skin cells and enhances the deeper penetration of clindamycin.

Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way adapalene+clindamycin works or this medicine itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
