- This medicine is used for managing:
- Depression
- Anxiety disorders
- Panic disorders
Contraindications
- If you have a severe allergy to any active ingredients of the medicine.
- It is also contraindicated if you have the following conditions;
- Low sodium level in the blood
- Suicidal tendencies
- Severe liver disease
- Bleeding disorders
- Angle-closure glaucoma (disorder with increased pressure in the eye)

- You are allergic to any ingredient like Paroxetine or clonazepam.
- You had a recent heart attack.
- You have any seizure disorder or any bleeding disorder.
- You have suicidal thoughts.
- You are undergoing any surgery, again don't forget to inform your doctor about this medication.
- You are supposed to undergo any laboratory test.
- You have fainting, difficulty in walking, difficulty breathing, chest pain, blistering of the skin, sudden twitching of muscles or uncontrollable shaking, numbness, tingling sensation, difficult urination, painful erection, skin rash, altered stools, and bone pain.
- Since it is habit-forming, don't take it for too long. Your doctor will decrease the dose gradually.
- Do not stop taking this medicine suddenly. It can lead to serious withdrawal issues.
Directions for Use
- The medicine comes in both tablet and suspension form.
- The dose is prescribed according to age and other comorbid conditions. For instance, if a patient with an anxiety disorder has some liver dysfunction as well, then the doctor might need to decrease the dose.
- Have this medicine with food or just after your food as it would decrease the likelihood of side effects. Try to have it at a fixed time to maintain its consistent levels in the blood.
