- Tretinoin is a type of vitamin A that helps to reduce the melanin content in the skin thereby fading the dark patches caused in melasma.
- Azelaic acid belongs to a class of medicine known as dicarboxylic acid, it is anti-inflammatory in action, it helps to reduce the redness and swelling caused due to inflammation.
