Troid Tablet is an anti psoriasis and anti vitiligo medication. It contains trioxysalen as the active substance. Troid Tablet is used in the treatment of vitiligo and psoriasis. Vitiligo is a conditi
on where there is a loss of skin colour in patches. Psoriasis is a skin disease that causes rashes and itchy patchy areas. Take Troid Tablet in the exact dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. Before starting Troid Tablet, inform your doctor if you are pregnant/breastfeeding and about your complete medical history.

- Troid Tablet is used in the treatment of psoriasis.
- It is also used to increase the pigmentation of the affected skin in vitiligo.

Mode of Action of Troid 25 MG
How Does It Work?
- In psoriasis, Troid Tablet increases the amount of ultraviolet light that your skin absorbs. This slows down the overgrowth of skin cells in psoriasis and helps to clear psoriasis skin plaques.
- In vitiligo, this medicine increases the action of a chemical called tyrosinase that is required for the formation of the skin colouring pigment, melanin.
Directions for Use of Troid 25 MG
- Take Troid Tablet as a whole with sufficient water.
- Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
- Do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.
- Do not discontinue the medicine on your own without consulting your doctor.
