Trioptal 600mg Strip Of 10 Tablets
Trioptal 600 MG Description
Trioptal 600mg tablet is used to treat and prevent epilepsy and seizures. This medicine contains oxcarbazepine which belongs to an anticonvulsant group of medicines. This anti-epileptic medicine is u
sed to treat fits, seizures, or epilepsy. Epilepsy is a disorder in which there is a sudden rush of electricity in the brain. There are irregular electrical rhythms in the brain, and this imbalance in the brain signals causes fits or seizures in the person. Other symptoms include loss of consciousness and irregular movements, tongue biting, and saliva dripping. The action of oxcarbazepine is on the electrical nerve impulses of the brain. It works by decreasing the imbalance in these impulses and reducing the recurrent episodes of fits or seizures. Because of the sudden burst of the brain's electrical impulses, the person experiences unconsciousness, irregular movements, tongue bite, and froth from the mouth. Oxcarbazepine is used to control all these symptoms. One should take this medicine for epilepsy as prescribed by your doctor. The dose needs gradually increased to get results, and as the frequency of fits starts decreasing, your doctor will gradually decrease the dose. Do not take or stop the medicine suddenly. This can cause undue symptoms in the patient, like headache, irregular movements, or dizziness. Anyone consuming this medicine can experience side effects like dizziness, drowsiness, sleepiness, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, dry mouth, diarrhoea, constipation, headache, or fatigue. You should consult your doctor if you continue to have these symptoms or if these side effects become serious.
