Telmed Ah 40mg Strip Of 10 Tablets Description

Telmed AH tablet is an antihypertensive medication. It is used to reduce high blood pressure in adults. It contains a combination of three medicines - amlodipine, telmisartan, and hydrochlorothiazid

e as active substances. Take this medicine in the exact dose and duration as recommended by your doctor. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. If pregnancy is detected during treatment with Telmed AH tablet, discontinue use as soon as possible and inform your doctor. Before starting this medicine, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding and about your complete medical history. While taking Telmed AH, it is recommended to make certain lifestyle modifications like exercising regularly, reducing salt intake, and avoiding smoking and alcohol for better control of your blood pressure. Telmed AH tablet is not recommended for patients below the age of 18 years.

Contraindications of Telmed Ah 40mg Strip Of 10 Tablets

If you are allergic to amlodipine, telmisartan, hydrochlorothiazide, or any other ingredients of Telmed AH tablet.
If you have low blood pressure.
If you have problems with your liver or kidney.
If you suffer from any heart conditions like shock, irregular heartbeats, heart attack, low pulse or heart output, etc.
If you have diabetes or some kidney issues and are taking medicines containing aliskiren to treat your high blood pressure.
If you are pregnant for more than 3 months.
If you have low potassium, low sodium, high calcium, or high uric acid levels in your blood.

Can I take Telmed AH tablet while breastfeeding?

Components of Telmed AH tablet may pass into human breast milk. Hence, this medicine is not recommended for use while breastfeeding. Inform your doctor if you are breastfeeding before using this medicine.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Telmed AH tablet?

Telmed AH tablet may cause dizziness or visual disturbances like blurred vision. If you experience any such effects after taking this medicine that may affect your ability to drive safely, it is advised to avoid driving.

How Does It Work?

Telmed AH tablet works by the combined action of all its active components - amlodipine, telmisartan, and hydrochlorothiazide.
Amlodipine and telmisartan work by blocking a substance in the body that causes the blood vessels to tighten. Thus it helps to relax blood vessels and allows the blood to flow easily.
Hydrochlorothiazide works by helping the body get rid of extra fluid or water through urine, eventually lowering your blood pressure.

Telmed AH tablet should be taken exactly as directed by your doctor.
Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water.
