Tazret 0.05 % Description
Tazret 0.05% gel contains Tazarotene as its active ingredient. It is used for the treatment of acne and psoriasis. Do not use this gel if you are allergic to any of its components or are pregnant. Ta
zret 0.05% gel is not recommended for use in children and adolescents. It is meant only for external application and should be applied as recommended by your doctor. Avoid being exposed to sunlight, UV rays for too long. You may experience some application site reactions as side effects. However, they normally fade away with time. Please report to your doctor if you notice the side effects persist or worsen.

Uses of Tazret 0.05 %
Tazret 0.05% gel is used to treat acne or pimples and psoriasis.
Contraindications of Tazret 0.05 %
If you are allergic to Tazarotene or any other ingredients of Tazret 0.05% gel.
If you are pregnant or planning a pregnancy.
If you are breastfeeding.
Tazret 0.05% gel should not be used on the face, on the hair-covered areas like scalp, armpits, private parts.
It should not be used under tight bandages.
Do not use this gel for any other conditions than that prescribed by the doctor.

- Do not let this gel get into your eyes, nose, mouth or on your hair. If it happens, rinse it with water thoroughly.
- Tazret 0.05% gel is not recommended for patients below 18 years of age.

How Does It Work?
Tazarotene in Tazret 0.05% gel works slowing down the production of skin cells, thus reducing skin inflammation (redness) and acne.
Directions for Use of Tazret 0.05 %
- Tazret 0.05% gel is meant for external use only.
- Use the cream as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
- Read the instructions on the label or leaflet before use.
- Clean and dry the infected area well.
- Apply it on the affected skin surface, free from cuts and wounds.
- Avoid touching the tip of the container directly to the infected area of the skin.
- Wash your hands before and after using this medicine unless your hands are the area to be treated.
- In case your eyes come in contact with this medicine, rinse your eyes with clean water immediately.
Interactions of Tazret 0.05 %
Interactions with other medicines
- Tazret 0.05% gel is applied externally on the skin. Thus., it is less likely to interact with other medicines taken orally. However, it may interact with other topically applied cream and gel. Discuss with your doctor if you are already on another topical gel or cream....
- Concomitant use of Tazret 0.05% gel along with other medicines and cosmetic preparations that cause skin irritation or dryness should be avoided.
Storage and disposal of Tazret 0.05 %
- Store Tazret 0.05% gel in the original container in a clean and dry place, protected from moisture, sunlight and heat.
- Keep the medicine away from children and pets.
- Do not use expired or damaged medicines.
Dosage of Tazret 0.05 %
Overdose
As Tazret 0.05% gel is meant for external application, cases of overdose are unlikely. Exessive use of this gel may cause skin redness, peeling and discomfort. However, upon accidental ingestion, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital. If you have overapplied it, wipe out the excess of medicine with tissue or cotton....
Missed a Dose
If you have missed applying Tazret 0.05% gel, apply it as soon as possible. Do not over-apply this medicine just to compensate for the missed dose.
