Uses of Sustameto R Tablet

Sustameto R Tablet is used in the treatment of essential hypertension (high blood pressure without secondary cause).

Contraindications of Sustameto R Tablet

  • If you are allergic to any ingredients present in the Sustameto R Tablet.
  • If you have a known history of angioedema (swelling due to excess fluid filled under the skin).
  • Do not take the Sustameto R Tablet with a combination of sacubitril/valsartan therapy (heart medicine). If you are unsure it is recommended to consult your doctor.
  • If you have any kind of heart-related problem or kidney problems, high/low blood pressure or any other pre-existing health condition.
  • If you are diabetic and having other anti-hypertensive medicines like aliskiren.
  • If you are pregnant.
  • If you have sick sinus syndrome (pacemaker problem in the heart).
