Scabiped Cream 15 G Description

Scabiped Cream is an anti-scabies medicine. Scabies is a skin condition that is caused by a mite. Scabiped Cream contains a combination of cetrimide and gamma benzene hexachloride as active substanc

es. It is used for the treatment of scabies only in patients who cannot tolerate other medicines or who have failed treatment with other approved medicines. Do not use this medicine to treat any other skin conditions other than that prescribed by your doctor. Scabiped Cream is meant for external application only. Do not use more of the medicine or apply it more often than recommended. Particular care should be taken when using Scabiped Cream in infants, children, the elderly, individuals with other skin conditions like atopic dermatitis or psoriasis or those individuals who weigh less than 50 kg.

Scabiped Cream is used for the treatment of scabies (infestations of a mite called Sarcoptes scabiei).

Contraindications of Scabiped Cream 15 G

  • If you are allergic to cetrimide, gamma benzene hexachloride or any of the other ingredients of Scabiped Cream.
  • In body cavities like the mouth or ear or as an enema (a treatment to clean the bowel).
  • If you are using Scabiped Cream near the eyes and middle ear and surrounding areas.
  • If you are using this medicine in premature infants.
  • If you have crusted (Norwegian) scabies and other skin conditions (atopic dermatitis, psoriasis).
  • If you have a known uncontrolled seizure/fits disorder.
