Medical Description
RT-Dom suspension is used for acid reflux, heartburn linked to reflux, and peptic ulcer disease. It contains a combination of alginic acid, magaldrate and simethicone. Alginic acid forms a floating layer that helps limit reflux, magaldrate neutralises stomach acid, and simethicone joins gas bubbles so they pass more easily. The suspension is measured and taken by mouth, usually on an empty stomach when prescribed, and it should be used with medical advice if symptoms continue.
