owel surgery or X-ray examination. Procto Clysis Enema Enema contains sodium phosphates as active substances. Use this medicine exactly as recommended. It is not recommended for use in children less than 3 years of age. Procto Clysis Enema Enema is meant for rectal use only. Do not ingest it. Before using Procto Clysis Enema Enema, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant, breastfeeding and about your complete medical history. Also, inform about all the medicines and supplements that you take.

- Procto Clysis Enema Enema is a laxative (bowel cleanser) used for providing relief from constipation.
- It can also be given by your doctor or nurse for bowel cleansing before procedures like endoscopy, bowel surgery or X-ray examination.
Contraindications of Procto Clysis Enema 0.65 %
- If you are allergic to sodium phosphates or any other ingredient of Procto Clysis Enema Enema.
- If you have a blockage in the intestines.
- If you have a condition where the movement of food through your intestines is temporarily paralyzed (paralytic ileus).
- If you have a narrow or incomplete anal or rectal opening.
- If you have a swollen large bowel (megacolon).
- If you have an intestinal disorder called Hirschsprung's disease where you have problems with passing stools normally.
- If you have symptoms that may suggest of appendicitis, holes/piercings in the intestine or stomach or inflammatory bowel disease (IBD like Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis).
- If you have a heart disorder where your heart is unable to pump blood efficiently.
- If you are dehydrated.
- If you are less than 3 years of age.
- If you have bleeding from the rectal area that is not yet diagnosed.
- If you are taking other medicines or preparation containing sodium phosphates.

Directions for Use of Procto Clysis Enema 0.65 %
- Procto Clysis Enema Enema should be used exactly as directed by your doctor.
- Wash your hands before and after using this medicine.
- Lie on your left side with both knees bent and your arms in front of you at rest.
- If necessary before insertion, the enema may be slightly warmed in a water bath.
- Gently insert the enema into the rectum with the tip pointing towards your navel.
- Squeeze the bottle and insert the liquid.
- Gently remove the enema nozzle from your rectum. Some leakage of the medicine contents may occur.
- Remain in the same position until the urge to evacuate your bowels is strong.
