Probitol capsule is a probiotic and prebiotic supplement used to support intestinal balance and may help prevent or reduce diarrhoea associated with antibiotics or other illnesses. It contains a combination of bifidobacterium bifidum, bifidobacterium longum, lactobacillus acidophilus and streptococcus thermophilus, which are beneficial bacteria, plus fructooligosaccharide, a prebiotic food for some helpful bacteria, and L-glutamine. The bacteria and prebiotic support the intestinal environment, while L-glutamine provides nutritional support for intestinal cells. Swallow the capsule whole with water and use it alongside appropriate medical care when diarrhoea is severe or persistent.
