Medical Description
Perasul injection is an antibiotic combination used to treat susceptible bacterial infections of the ears, sinuses, throat, lungs, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues. It contains cefoperazone, which stops bacteria from building the protective covering they need to survive, and sulbactam, which blocks resistance enzymes that can weaken cefoperazone. Together, the ingredients help the body clear infections caused by susceptible bacteria. Perasul injection is given by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or clinic and is not useful for viral illnesses such as ordinary colds.
