For the treatment of lung cancer

Contraindications of Pemnat 500 MG

If you are allergic to pemetrexed or any of the ingredient of Pemnat Powder For Infusion
If you are a breastfeeding mother
If you have taken or are about to take a vaccine against yellow fever

Side effects of Pemnat 500 MG

Nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea
Indigestion, constipation, stomach pain
Fever, infection
Fatigue, dizziness, loss of appetite
Skin rash, redness, itching
Pain, swelling, sores in the mouth
Chest pain
Hair loss
Low blood platelets, anaemia, low WBCs

Pregnancy

Can I take Pemnat Powder For Infusion during pregnancy?

Pemnat Powder For Infusion should not be used during pregnancy unless your doctor considers it essential after assessing the benefits over risks.
Use effective contraception during treatment & for about 6 months after stopping the treatment.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Pemnat Powder For Infusion while breastfeeding?

You should not breastfeeding while on treatment with this medicine, as it is unknown if pemetrexed passes into breast milk

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Pemnat Powder For Infusion?

This medicine may make you feel tired, caution is needed while driving or operating machines.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Pemnat Powder For Infusion?

Although there is no known interaction with alcohol and this medicine, it is essential to consult your physician if you have a habit of consuming alcohol regularly.

Other General Warnings

Pemetrexed interacts with DNA (genetic material) and causes certain changes in the DNA. This results in problems in DNA synthesis leading to anti-cancer effects.
