Olzic Plus is used for psychological disorders like bipolar disorder. The active ingredient of Olzic Plus is Fluoxetine and Olanzapine, which work by increasing the levels of certain chemical messeng

ers in the brain that can improve mood and the physical signs seen with depression. Bipolar disorder is a medical condition in which a person tends to experience extreme mood swings. They can suffer from emotional highs called mania or experience extreme lows. There are intense mood changes that cause a shift in a person’s energy levels. Uses of Olzic Plus include treatment of schizophrenia. If you feel that the prescribed dosage of the medication isn’t working efficiently for you, consult your doctor about the same. Treatment of schizophrenia.

Contraindications of Olzic Plus Strip Of 10 Tablets

If you are allergic to Olanzapine or any other active ingredient present in the medication.
If you have angle-closure glaucoma (a condition where iris of the eye bulges forward and narrows the drainage angle. Olzic Plus can worsen the condition.
If a patient has Central Nervous System Depression. Using Olzic Plus is not recommended in a coma or unconscious state.
If you have a history of Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome. Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome is a life-threatening reaction towards antipsychotic medicines.
If you have Dementia. Olzic Plus is not recommended for patients who have dementia-related psychosis. This medicine can worsen the patient's condition.
If you have had Tardive Dyskinesia. Another side effect of antipsychotic medicine. It caused stiff, jerky movements.
If you have had seizures before.

Pregnancy

Can I take Olzic Plus during pregnancy?

No. Taking Olzic Plus during the course of pregnancy is not advised. If needed, your health care provider will weigh the benefits and risks of prescribing Olzic Plus to you and discuss the same with you.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Olzic Plus while breastfeeding?

No. Olzic Plus is not recommended for mothers who are breastfeeding. There have been limited studies that indicate that Olzic may pass into breast milk in small amounts. Hence, it is advised to consult your doctor if you need to take Olzic Plus if you are breastfeeding. Your doctor will inform you about the risks and benefits of taking the tablet.

Driving

Can I drive if I have taken Olzic Plus?

No, Olzic Plus can cause adverse side effects that include your ability to drive. These side effects include having blurry vision, experiencing confusion or having bouts of dizziness. Patients are advised to wait for a couple of hours before they decide to drive after taking Olzic Plus. The same caution should be exercised in the case of operating heavy machinery. Avoid driving if you experience any of these symptoms and wait for them to pass away.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with the Olzic Plus?

No. Consuming alcohol with Olzic Plus is not advised. Mixing alcohol with Olzic Plus can lead to adverse reactions that include fever, nausea, fatigue, upset stomach and dizziness.

Directions for Use of Olzic Plus Strip Of 10 Tablets

Take Olzic Plus according to the directions given to you by your doctor.
The efficacy of Olzic Plus reduces if a tablet is broken down or chewed. Take the tablet as a whole.
You can take Olzic Plus before or after eating food.
You can swallow Olzic Plus as a whole with a glass of water.
Please ensure that you take Olzic Plus at the same time every day. This should be done so that the system has the same level of the medicine in the blood.
Do not take Olzic Plus for more time than what is recommended by the doctor.
Do not stop taking Olzic Plus without consulting your doctor.
