Oltef-VG vaginal capsule is a combination medicine used for certain vaginal infections associated with abnormal discharge, itching, irritation or burning. It contains clindamycin, an antibiotic that stops susceptible bacteria making proteins needed for growth, and clotrimazole, an antifungal that damages the protective outer layer of fungi. Together they act locally against bacterial and fungal organisms that can contribute to vaginal discharge. Oltef-VG vaginal capsule is inserted into the vagina only, using clean hands and exactly as prescribed after unexplained discharge has been medically assessed.
