Oliza Injection is an atypical antipsychotic. It is prescribed to patients for treating mania and schizophrenia. Schizophrenia is a mental condition that results in hallucinations or misconceptions.

It adversely influences the person’s power to assume or act. Oliza Injection is a rich antipsychotic used to treat turmoil associated with schizophrenia and bipolar type I fetish. It is also used to treat depression and improve moods and thoughts. Though Oliza Injection is given under the control of a doctor, it is suggested that it be taken at the exact time every day as this will preserve a constant level of medication in the body. It should be taken in the quantity and time recommended by your doctor.

Contraindications of Oliza 10 MG

Do not take Oliza injection or take with caution:
If you are allergic to Beta-lactam antibiotics
If you are below 13 years of age

Side effects of Oliza injection are the following:
Weight gain
Drowsiness
Orthostatic hypotension
Raised plasma prolactin levels
Dryness in mouth

Pregnancy

No. Oliza injection is not safe to use during pregnancy. Do not take Oliza injection without consulting a doctor.

Breast Feeding

Oliza injection is not advised to be issued to breastfeeding women unless essential.

Driving

Can I drive if I have taken Oliza Injection?

This injection can cause dizziness or tiredness in some patients. Avoid driving or operating heavy machinery if you experience any such signs during treatment.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Oliza Injection?

No. Avoid consuming alcohol with Oliza injection. Alcohol can interfere with the effectiveness of this medicine and cause serious side effects like problems in focusing, dizziness, puzzlement, and tiredness. Avoid performing any action that needs great mental attention. In the initial stages, the injection may result in a drop in blood pressure.

Directions for Use of Oliza 10 MG

Take in a hospital or clinic under the supervision of a qualified healthcare professional.
Follow all the instructions prescribed by your physician.
Take this in the dosage and time as instructed by your doctor.
Notify your healthcare professional if you have a known allergy to the medication.
Inform the physician of your existing medications and medical illnesses.
This medicine must not be issued to children below 13 years of age.

Interactions with other medicines

Oliza Inj interacts moderately with acarbose, which is an antidiabetic medicine.
Oliza Inj interacts moderately with amlodipine, a long-acting calcium channel blocker used as an anti-hypertensive.
Oliza Inj is strictly not recommended with Diazepam as it belongs to a class of medicines called benzodiazepines and is prescribed in the treatment of anxiety.
Avoid taking Oliza Inj with Tramadol, a pain killer, as they do not go well together.
