Contraindications of Obenow 10 MG

If you are allergic to obeticholic acid or any other ingredient of Obenow Tablet.
If you have complete blockage of the bile ducts in your liver or gallbladder.

Pregnancy

Can I take Obenow Tablet during pregnancy?

Take Obenow Tablet as a whole with sufficient water.
Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor.
Do not consume more than the prescribed dose.
Do not discontinue the medicine on your own without consulting your doctor.

Interactions of Obenow 10 MG

Interactions with other medicines

Some medicines can affect the way Obenow Tablet works or this Tablet itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.
Tell your doctor about all medicines, supplements or herbals you are currently taking or might take to avoid any possible interaction.
The use of Obenow Tablet with bile acid binding resins (cholestyramine, colestipol, colesevelam) may reduce the effectiveness of this Tablet.
Particular care should be taken if you are using medicines to treat asthma/chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder (theophylline), muscle cramps (tizanidine), blood clots (warfarin).
