Interactions with other medicines
- Paracetamol may prolong the effect of anticoagulants like warfarin and increase the risk of bleeding
- Metoclopramide and domperidone may increase the speed of absorption of paracetamol
- Colestyramine may reduce the absorption of paracetamol if given within one hour of paracetamol
- Concomitant use of two or more NSAIDs should be avoided as they increase the risk of gastric bleeding
- Concomitant use of NSAIDs with antihypertensives may reduce the efficacy of antihypertensive
