The New Coscopin Cough Linctus Bottle Of 100ml Suspension belongs to the class of expectorant medications, which are used for treating coughs. New Coscopin Cough Linctus Bottle Of 100ml Suspension helps relieve symptoms of dry cough by loosening the mucous (phlegm) and also improves symptoms such as runny nose, sneezing, itching, and watery eyes. Sodium citrate (mucolytic agent) and Ammonium chloride (expectorant), and Noscapine (cough suppressant) are the drugs in the New Coscopin Cough Linctus Bottle Of 100ml Suspension. The cough suppressant noscapine blocks nerve signals from the cough centre in the brain to the muscles that cause coughing, thereby reducing the need to cough. The expectorant ammonium chloride contributes to mucous relief and clears the respiratory tract by reducing mucous stickiness. The mucolytic agent sodium citrate is a sputum thinner, which works by loosening and thinning the phlegm of the lungs, windpipe, and nasal passages. You should avoid dairy products, such as milk, that may result in mucous production. If you suffer from a cough, it is critical to avoid refined foods, processed foods, white bread, white pasta, French fries, sugary desserts, and chips.
