Mode of Action
How Does It Work?
- N-Acetylcysteine gets converted to cysteine in the body. This helps to neutralize the damaging effects of free radicals induced cell and tissue damage.
- Taurine is a type of essential amino acid, which is found throughout the body. It helps in improving the kidney blood flow, kidney functions and functions of cells of blood vessels.
- A combination of taurine and N-Acetylcysteine helps to prevent the deterioration of microalbuminuria (protein excretion in the urine) in diabetic kidney disease patients. This medicine improves the body’s natural antioxidant defence system.
