Contraindications
- If you are allergic to azilsartan, chlorthalidone or any of the ingredients of Myotan Ct Tablet.
- If you have electrolyte imbalance in the body.
- If you have liver or kidney problems.
- If you have any kind of heart problem.
- If you are suffering from diarrhoea and vomiting.
- If you have gout.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding women.

- You have a kidney problem. Regular kidney function monitoring is required.
- You have a condition of Renal artery stenosis(a condition of narrowing one or more arteries that carry blood to your kidneys).

- You have an increased level of potassium in the blood or are on any potassium supplements.
- You are pregnant or planning a pregnancy. The doctor might switch to other alternative medicine.
- The use of Myotan Ct Tablets may cause low levels of electrolytes in the body. It is advisable to monitor electrolytes periodically.

- Myotan Ct Tablet should be consumed as a whole with a sufficient amount of water with or without food.

How Does It Work?
- A hormone called angiotensin is responsible for the narrowing of blood vessels and rise in blood pressure. Azilsartan lowers blood pressure by blocking the action of angiotensin.
- Chlorthalidone acts by increasing the loss of water and salt from the body, thus resulting in increased production of urine, thereby lowering the blood pressure.
