Mucinac 600 MG Description

Mucinac 600 Effervescent Sugar-Free tablet is a mucolytic agent used to treat respiratory diseases with excessive mucus. It relieves chest congestion or tightness due to excess mucous in various respiratory tract conditions, including bronchitis, emphysema, cystic fibrosis, and bronchiectasis.

Mucinac 600 Effervescent Sugar-Free tablet contains acetylcysteine as its main component. A few other tablets with the same composition are Effenac 600mg, Mucaryl 600mg, Mucotab Et 600mg, Mucomix Et, and Lumenac 600mg. Acetylcysteine in Mucinac 600 helps loosen thick mucous and makes it easier to cough it out. Mucinac is beneficial for shortness of breath caused by chest congestion and gives relief from wheezing.

You may experience drowsiness (use caution when driving) or nausea or vomiting (small frequent meals may help). This tablet is effervescent in nature and should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Do not skip a dose or consume more than that recommended by the doctor.

While using this medication, avoid alcohol and other prescription or OTC medications that might cause dizziness. Before using this medicine, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about your detailed medical history.
