Montasma Fx Tablet
Montasma Fx Tablet Description
Montasma fx is a prescription medication primarily used to treat the symptoms of Allergic Rhinitis like runny nose, watery eyes, itching etc. It is a combination medicine that contains two active com
ponents, montelukast and fexofenadine. Montelukast is a leukocyte receptor antagonist (leukotrienes get activated in allergic reactions and release chemicals that produce allergy symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, itching etc.). Fexofenadine, on the other hand, is a type of antihistamine (histamine is a chemical released in response to allergic reactions) that blocks certain types of histamine receptors, thereby taking care of symptoms of allergic rhinitis and urticaria (also known as hives in which the skin develops itchy rashes in response to allergic reactions). Montelukast is present in a dose of 10 mg. Fexofenadine is present in a dose of 120 mg. Montasma fx has some side effects; therefore, it must be used with caution only after a doctor's recommendation. Your doctor decides the dose and duration. Do not try to recommend this medication to other people. Ask them to see a doctor, and if he decides to give Montasma fx, then only it should be given
