Montair 10 tablet is an anti-allergic medicine used for the treatment of asthma and other allergic conditions such as a runny or blocked nose, watery eyes, itching, etc. It contains montelukast as its main component. This medicine works by inhibiting the action of natural chemical substance leukotrienes responsible for allergic conditions. By blocking leukotrienes, Montelukast improves asthma symptoms, helps control asthma and improves seasonal allergy symptoms. Montair 10 tablet should be taken as directed by the doctor and in doses and duration as prescribed. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about all the medicines and supplements you take and all the conditions or diseases you suffer from, before starting this medicine.
Uses
- Montair tablet is used for the treatment of asthma, which is inadequately controlled by other inhaled medications and exercise-induced asthma.
- It is also used for relieving symptoms of allergic rhinitis (runny nose, sneezing, chest congestion, itching, watery eyes and stuffy nose).

- You experience agitation, aggression, irritability, restlessness and suicidal thinking, then immediately inform your doctor.
- Montair 10 mg is not meant for relief during an acute attack of asthma. You are advised to have appropriate rescue medication to manage such acute events.
Directions for Use
- Montair 10 tablet should be taken as directed by your doctor.
- Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water, do not cut, break or chew the medicine.
- It can be taken with or without food.
- It would be best if you took it at a fixed time for optimal results.
- You should not consume it more than that prescribed by your doctor.

- Inform your doctor about all other medicines, herbal preparations and supplements you are taking before starting with Montair tablet.
