Medical Description
Montair 10 tablet contains Montelukast. It works by opposing the actions of Leukotrienes. Leukotrienes cause narrowing and swelling of airways in the lungs and also cause allergy symptoms. By blocking leukotrienes, Montelukast improves asthma symptoms, helps control asthma and improves seasonal allergy symptoms.

Uses of Montair 10mg Strip Of 15 Tablets
- Montair tablet is used for the treatment of asthma, which is inadequately controlled by other inhaled medications and exercise-induced asthma.
- It is also used for relieving symptoms of allergic rhinitis (runny nose, sneezing, chest congestion, itching, watery eyes and stuffy nose).
Contraindications of Montair 10mg Strip Of 15 Tablets
Do not consume this medicine if you are allergic to Montelukast or any other components of Montair tablet.

Directions for Use of Montair 10mg Strip Of 15 Tablets
Take this medicine in dose and duration as advised by your physician. Montair 10mg should be taken as a whole. It can be taken with or without food.
Interactions of Montair 10mg Strip Of 15 Tablets
Interactions with other medicines
- Montair 10mg may be administered routinely with other medications used for the management and chronic treatment of Asthma.
- Medicines used for the treatment of seizures or fits such as Phenytoin and medicine used in the treatment of tuberculosis such as Rifampicin should be used cautiously.
- Inform your doctor about all other medicines, herbal preparations and supplements you are taking before starting with the Montair tablet.
Storage and disposal of Montair 10mg Strip Of 15 Tablets
Montair 10mg tablets should be stored below 30 degrees in a cool and dry place away from moisture and sunlight.
Dosage of Montair 10mg Strip Of 15 Tablets
Overdose
Symptoms of an overdose of Montair tablet include vomiting, abdominal pain, thirst, somnolence (drowsiness) and mood disorders. If you have taken too much of this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or visit the nearest hospital.

If you missed any dose of Montair 10, take it as soon as you remember. If it's time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular dose schedule. Do not take a double dose of medicine to compensate for the missed one.
