Medical Description

Monomox DX capsule is an antibiotic combination used for certain bacterial infections. It contains amoxicillin and dicloxacillin, which stop susceptible bacteria from building the protective covering needed for survival; lactic acid bacillus is also included as part of the formulation. The two antibiotics work against bacteria that respond to them, while the added culture has no separate treatment role described here. Monomox DX capsule is taken by mouth with or after food, as prescribed.
