Medical Description
Mintop Forte solution is used to treat hair loss. Its main ingredient is minoxidil, which dilates the blood vessels and stimulates scalp hair growth. It works directly on the hair follicles, helping to shorten the resting phase of the hair cycle and encouraging more follicles to enter the growth phase sooner. This process can gradually lead to thicker and more visible hair regrowth.
The medicine is for external use only and should be applied directly to the scalp, not to other parts of the body. Using it more than the advised amount will not increase hair growth. It may take a few months before you see results. Use Mintop Forte 5% solution exactly as directed by the doctor. Avoid contact with eyes, nose and mouth. In case of accidental contact, wash the area immediately with water.
It should not be used if the scalp is damaged, inflamed, sunburnt, or affected by skin conditions like psoriasis. You should also avoid use if you have sudden unexplained hair loss, total baldness, hair loss not due to hereditary causes, or certain heart or blood pressure problems. Mintop Forte solution should not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is also not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. Before using this medicine, inform your doctor about your complete medical history and all the medicines and supplements you take. Common side effects include scalp irritation, itching, dryness, flaking, or a mild burning sensation.
To prevent accidental transfer, wash your hands thoroughly after application, avoid touching your face, and keep the solution away from your eyes, mouth, and other sensitive areas. It is flammable — do not use it near flames, lit cigarettes, or heat-producing devices like hairdryers.
