• Dehydration from diarrhoea: Loose stools can remove water and salts; oral electrolytes help restore hydration while the underlying cause is assessed.
• Dehydration from vomiting: When fluids can be kept down, the prepared solution may replace water and electrolytes lost through vomiting.
• Electrolyte loss: Sodium, potassium and other electrolytes support fluid balance and normal muscle function after fluid loss.
• Digestive discomfort: Probiotics and enzymes may support gut balance and digestion when bloating or indigestion occurs.
• Nutritional recovery: Vitamins and minerals may support normal body functions during weakness or recovery, but do not replace medical care.

• Allergic reaction: Sensitivity to an ingredient may cause a rash, itching or swelling; get emergency medical help for breathing difficulty or swelling of the face, lips or throat.

• Prepare Minerva powder with clean drinking water as directed.
• Take small sips if nausea is present and stop if fluids cannot be kept down.
• Continue appropriate feeding and hydration advice for children unless a health worker advises otherwise.
• Seek urgent care for very little urine, marked sleepiness, confusion or inability to drink.
