Directions for Use
- Take the dose as prescribed by your physician
- Shake the bottle well before use
- Use the spoon or dispenser that comes with the bottle to administer the exact amount of dose as instructed by the treating doctor
- Do not take more than the prescribed dose in a day

- Store in a cool and dry place below 25°
- Keep it out of the reach of children and pets
- Keep it away from direct exposure to sunlight
- The medication should be disposed of 24 months after the date of manufacture if it is not opened

Interactions with other medicines
- Disulphiram results in symptoms of psychosis when used with metronidazole
- Metronidazole increases the effects of blood-thinning medications like warfarin
- Medicines containing lithium may result in kidney disorders when taken along with methotrexate
- Anti-epileptic medicines like phenytoin decrease the levels of metronidazole in the body
- Concomitant use of methotrexate increases the serum levels of carbamazepine and increases the risk of toxicity
- Metronidazole increases the levels of anti-cancer medicines like fluorouracil and busulfan in the blood and results in toxic effects in the body
- Methotrexate when taken with immunosuppressants like cyclosporin increases its levels in blood
