controlling bleeding. Headache, high blood pressure, nausea or vomiting are some of the side effects of Methyler Tablet. If side effects do not go away on their own or your condition doesn't improve over time then inform your doctor.

Contraindications of Methyler 0.2 MG

If you are allergic to methyl ergometrine or any other ingredients of Methyler Tablet.
If you have high blood pressure.
If you are pregnant and had high blood pressure, the presence of protein in the urine and swelling of feet, hands or face.

Pregnancy

Can I take Methyler Tablet during pregnancy?

Components of Methyler Tablet are not known to cause harm to the unborn babies. This medicine should not be taken by pregnant women due to uterine contractions caused by this medicine.

Breast Feeding

Can I take Methyler Tablet while breastfeeding?

Components of Methyler Tablet are known to pass into the breastmilk and can cause undesirable effects in the breastfed babies. Lactating mother should not breastfeed her baby during the treatment with this medicine and for at least 12 hours after taking the last dose of this medicine. Breastmilk recreated during this period should be discarded.

Driving

Can I drive if I have consumed Methyler Tablet?

Taking Methyler Tablet can cause dizziness. Avoid driving if you have dizziness after taking this medicine.

Alcohol

Can I consume alcohol with Methyler Tablet?

Consumption of alcohol along with Methyler Tablet can increase dizziness. Avoid alcohol consumption if you are taking this medicine.

How Does It Work?

Methyler Tablet works by increasing the rate and strength of uterine contractions which helps in decreasing bleeding.

Directions for Use of Methyler 0.2 MG

Take Methyler Tablet with or without food as prescribed by your doctor.
Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not cut, break or chew the medicine. It can be taken with or after food.
