Losed 1mg Tab is a prescription medicine. It is used to treat anxiety, panic disorders, social anxiety disorder, etc. This medicine belongs to benzodiazepines, which act as relaxants and produce a re
laxing effect in the brain. It contains lorazepam as the main ingredient, which alters some activities of the chemical messengers in the brain and gives relief from anxiety symptoms. Take it at the same time every day. Do not skip any dose during the ongoing treatment. Do not stop this medicine abruptly because otherwise, your body would become immune to the medicine, and your symptoms would worsen. Take it with or without food, depending upon the instructions from the doctor. This medicine can interact with certain foods. Avoid caffeine with it. Do not mix alcohol with this medicine. Uses of Losed 1 MG
- This medicine is used in the treatment of the following:
- Anxiety
- Social anxiety disorder (a condition where the person is not comfortable in settings of new people and surroundings)
- Generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), a condition where a person takes the tension of everyday activities
Contraindications of Losed 1 MG
- Losed 1mg Tab is contraindicated in the following cases:
- If you have a known hypersensitive reaction to the ingredients of Losed 1mg Tab
- If you have any history of heart situation like arrhythmia, coronary artery disease, etc.
- If you are currently taking other antidepressant medications
- If you have been diagnosed with an adrenal gland tumour known as pheochromocytoma
- If you were diagnosed with a condition called narrow-angle glaucoma (it is an eye condition that causes raised tension inside the eye)
- If you have an aneurysm or any blood vessel disorder
- If you have any urinary retention issues

How Does It Work?
Losed 1mg Tab is a prescription medicine. It contains lorazepam, which comes under the category of benzodiazepines. These belong to the category of anticonvulsants. There are certain chemical ions present in the brain cells. This lorazepam works in a dynamic manner to combat the action of many of those ions or neurotransmitters.
In our brain, there is a chemical called gamma-aminobutyric acid. This chemical works to calm down the thoughts and produce a relaxing effect on the brain. When a person is suffering from anxiety disorders, there is hyperactivity in the brain and the person is unable to maintain calm. Lorazepam acts on GABA receptors. When their activity is decreased, a person starts to feel better.
Even though the exact mechanism of benzodiazepines is not clear, their work gives a soothing effect to the brain and, in some situations, enhances brain activity. The correct dosage and prescription is a really important factor to utilise the full efficiency and potential of lorazepam....

Interactions of Losed 1 MG
Interactions with other medicines
- Medicines used to treat a type of cancer like Degarelix; interaction between the two medicines can cause adverse reactions like vomiting, convulsions, etc.
- Antiretroviral medicines like ritonavir can cause a decrease in the efficiency of both medicines.
- Anti-tubercular medicine like isoniazid is shown to cause an elevation in sedation leading to uneasiness.
- Medicines for the heart like verapamil; interactions between these medicines can cause an abrupt heart rate; in some cases, the heart can even stop leading to a heart attack, which can be fatal.
- Interactions with antibiotics like erythromycin can cause abnormal body temperature.
Interactions with food items
- Monitor your caffeine intake as Losed 1mg Tab produces a calming effect on the central nervous system. In contrast, caffeine is a stimulus of the brain. Both can be counteracting to each other, thereby causing a loss of efficacy....
