Lariago syrup is an antimalarial syrup that is used to treat and prevent malaria. Malaria is a disease caused by a parasite that is spread to humans through the bites of infected mosquitoes. Lariago
syrup contains chloroquine as the active ingredient which works by acting on the malarial parasite in the blood. This syrup can be used in both children and adults. Take this syrup in the exact dose and duration as recommended by your doctor. Do not take this medicine on your own.

How Does It Work?
Lariago syrup acts on the malarial parasite in the blood. It collects in the body of the parasite and interferes with certain essential processes. It also binds to a protein called heme and forms a substance that is toxic to the parasite. This helps to treat and prevent the progression of malaria....
Directions for Use of Lariago 160 MG
- Lariago syrup should be used as prescribed by the doctor.
- Take the exact amount of liquid medication as recommended by the doctor.
- Do not take more than the prescribed dose.

Interactions with other medicines
- Some medicines can affect the way Lariago syrup works or Lariago syrup itself can reduce the effectiveness of other medicines taken at the same time.

- Lariago syrup is contraindicated for use with amiodarone.
